MUSIC

Tyley has recorded two albums as a singer-songwriter; three albums with his Grammy-nominated opera-busting group The East Village Opera Company; and one last take on the operatic art form with his most recent project Aria Electronica .  Tyley was also featured on the original cast recordings of the Wedding Banquet and Finding Neverland.

ReDux(2015) - Aria Electronica

Aria Electronica is the latest offering from the Grammy nominated voices of the Universal Music recording act The East Village Opera Company. Following on the heels of their worldwide multimedia touring hit "Remember Me", AnnMarie Milazzo and Tyley Ross team up once again, this time to reinvigorate the Classical Aria with lush synth-driven Electronica.

Olde School (2008)

EVOC's Grammy Nominated 3rd CD.  This album draws from Wagner, Handel, Puccini, Mozart, and Bach to name a few. As expected, EVOC puts their twist on these songs with many surprising arrangements.  Using a few centuries worth of opera's greatest hits as their launching point, the album took 12 months and 14 engineers to record and mix the 65 involved musicians in 10 different studios around the world.

East Village Opera Company (2005)

EVOC's Universal Records debut, and their most popular CD.  The pomposity of opera meets the majesty of rock (and vice versa) in bold re-interpretations of classic opera arias.  Produced and Engineered by Neil Dorfsman.

La Donna (2003)

The first CD by singer Tyley Ross and Multi-instrumentalist Peter Kiesewalter.  La Donna is an album of Italian opera arias and Neapolitan folk songs in unorthodox musical settings, including unabashed 70's arena rock, sultry bossa nova, four-on-the-floor disco, celtic and bluegrass-tinged ambience- sometimes all in the same song. Ross and Kiesewalter, are joined by over 20 musicians on this disc including guitarist Vernon Reid (Living Colour), banjo master Tony Trishka, Blue Man Group music director Byron Estep, and a string ensemble from the National Arts Centre Orchestra of Canada.

Tyley Ross  (1999)

Tyley's second singer-songwriter album and his first full-length record.  Featuring Souvenir, a duet with Ma-Anne Dionisio and a cover of Paul Simon's enduring hit The Boxer.   Produced by David Gray, and music-directed by Paul Sportelli.

Treading Water  (1996)

This 6 song EP is Tyley's first album and is a very live, stripped-down experience of Tyley's early songwriting.  Highlights of the album include the one-take Midnight Moon and tender You Take My Breath Away (a song that was later featured in the film "Woman Wanted" starring Keifer Sutherland, Holly Hunter and Michael Moriarty.)  Produced by David Gray, with Paul Sportelli on Piano, Rick Lazar on Drums and George Koller on Bass.
